Flood warnings have been issued in at least two locations.
Heavy rains this weekend wreaked havoc on Mdantsane township, East London, and the surrounding areas. People’s homes, cars, and livestock have all been destroyed as a result of the devastating floods.
Potsdam cemeteries were discovered open on Saturday, with the outer coffins broken, stones placed, and the bones of the dead scattered everywhere.
“The tragedy at the cemetery was caused by the floods on Saturday,” said Mr Vuyisile Fakidolo, a member of the Potsdam Ward Committee.
The other body has yet to be found, and the families have chosen to collect the bones themselves because the ‘Forensics’ have not yet arrived.
